Our Booking Process
We want you to be as confident as possible with choosing a DJ for your vent. This page is designed to help you understand what will happen from beginning to end for complete transparency and to set the proper expectations.

- Check Availability: Use the Availability checker to see if an Audiocake DJ is available for your event.

- If We’re Available: You’ll be taken to a contact form to provide some details about your event and how you prefer to be contacted. WE DO NOT SPAM. We will only contact you how you ask us to.
- If We’re NOT Available: Please contact us anyway at sales@audiocake.com or call us at 770-572-4657. Even if the Availability Checker shows that we are not available, we know many independent DJ’s that may be able help depending on the details of your event.

- You’ll Be Contacted: When we get your contact form, an Audiocake representative will contact you to confirm the details you provided and then give you the specific pricing, details about the DJ, and any information that you would like to know. We will guide you through the process.
- Lock It In: After the call, you will receive an email to make a deposit on the event. That deposit locks in the DJ for your event. Deposits are non-refundable and are typically $200. That $200 is deducted from the balance. So if your quote is $800, only $600 will be due on the day of your event.
The reason that it is non-refundable is because when you verbally commit, Audiocake will turn away any other events for that DJ on that day. If you cancel the event, they have no means to be compensated for that day.
- Start Planning: Once the deposit is received, you will get an additional email that gives you access to a full backend system that lets you literally plan out your event. Brides literally use our backend system to fully plan out the music with a searchable database, timelines, list out wedding party information, and so much more.
- Week Of Your Event: The week of your event, your DJ will reach out for a phone meeting (normally 30 minutes) and walk through everything that you’ve entered into the system. We give you all of the information that you need including when we arrive, our setup process, and how it integrates with your timeline. We go through your song selection, our process through the event, and also help you prepare by sharing potential challenges. We’ve done hundreds of events, so we know what can go wrong and when. We want your event to be as smooth as possible.
- Day of Event: We contact you when we arrive onsite and locate the planner to verify our setup area. We will confirm once we are setup. Planner should present us with the balance due at this time.
- After the Event: We tear down our equipment and tie up any loose ends, check with you and make sure everything went as you expected. You’ll also receive access to a form to offer a review.
