We start by being available to answer any questions you may have, and we work hard to make sure that the entire process is stress free. We start with DJ’s that maintain a professional appearance and performance from beginning to end. We make sure that our DJ’s are polite and speak clearly, so that they can emcee your event and more importantly, be able to get the party started.
The Audiocake family of DJ’s features DJ’s like Mr. Christopher from Funkatopia, who began DJ’ing events in the 90’s. And outside of the Audiocake walls, we have access to a network of DJ’s to help you find the absolute perfect DJ for your event. Experience matters. Our DJ’s know how to read audiences and keep the party moving, and they also pay strict attention to your vision of the event from attire to dance lights to the DJ’s tablecloth. If We’re Available: You’ll be taken to a contact form to provide some details about your event and how you prefer to be contacted. WE DO NOT SPAM. We will only contact you how you ask us.
If We’re NOT Available: Please contact us anyway at sales@audiocake.com or call us at 770-572-4657. Even if the Availability Checker shows that we are not available, we know many independent DJ’s that may be able help depending on the details of your event.
When we receive your form, we will contact you to confirm the details you provided and then give you the specific pricing, details about the DJ, and any information that you would like to know. We will guide you through the process.
Lock It In & Begin
Lock It In: After the call, you will receive an email to make a deposit on the event. Your non-refundable deposit locks in the DJ for your event and Audiocake will decline any other events for that DJ on that day.
Start Planning: Once the deposit is received, you will get an additional email that gives you access to a full backend system that lets you literally plan out your event. Brides use our backend system to fully plan out the music with a searchable database, timelines, list out wedding party information, and so much more.
Review and Finalize
The week of your event, your DJ will reach out for a phone meeting (normally 30 minutes) and walk through everything that you’ve entered into the system. We provide all of the information you’ll need including when we arrive, our setup process, and how it integrates with your timeline.
We review your song selection and discuss our process through the event beginning to end. We will also help you prepare by sharing potential challenges based on our decades of experience. We’ve done hundreds of events, so we know what can go wrong and when and we want your event to be as smooth as possible.
On the day of your event, we’ll contact you when we arrive onsite and locate the planner to verify our setup area, confirm setup, and finalize any balances that may be due.
Enjoy Your Day
Once we’ve set up, we patiently wait and pay attention to schedules and prepared announcements staying in constant contact with the event planner to make sure that everything goes as planned and be prepared to pivot if it doesn’t.
We take the reins of the party and keep everything moving according to your plans and our discussions. We watch the party and make sure that your guests keep entertained, and we’ll also be your extra set of eyes to watch for potential issues and events that need your attention.
When the event is over, we tear down our equipment tie up any loose ends, and check in with you and make sure that everything went as you expected and hopefully garner a great review.
